This is a new and hopefully soon to be very interactive blog for any and everyone, but particularly for those friends and fellow sojourners of The Oasis Cafe and Ministry Center, Fellowship for Christ and the community of Havelock, NC and through them throughout the world.

Hello, all. My name is Walt. I am a fellow sojourner who happens to be the proprietor of The Oasis [Cafe & Ministry Center] in Havelock, NC. I will also be serving as the moderator for these discussions.

While any and all opinions are welcome and add diversity and insight to our conversations, it is essential that all participation be done from an attitude of humility. I assure you none of us has “it” all figured out.

I will make every attempt to not censor [spelled "delete"] anyone’s opinion but that requires love and self-control on your part. No name calling, personally derogatory comments, nor gross negativity will be tolerated.

That small caveat aside, I look forward to many interesting, insightful and fruitful conversations.
